Thousands of students attended Opera Indonesia

Jakarta - Opera Software as one of the leading browser developer, Opera, visited at least 2500 students in Indonesia in a campaign that was held in 5 major cities such as Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Jakarta, Bandung and Bali with a total of 10 universities.

Opera in the campaign trying to introduce more of their browser, Opera Desktop, which is less sound echo in Indonesia. In fact, if traced further, Opera can be said to be a pioneer in many commonly used features in the browser.

"Opera desktop is a pioneer in the field of the browser, but unfortunately the internet users in Indonesia are less familiar with the browser," said Anissa Putri, Marketting Manager Opera, to ITGazine, Thursday, (26/11/2009).

"Some operas feature is widely used by other browsers, you name it or features smart dial tabs that have been adopted by other browsers," he said. (Eno / Faw)
